Download, print and distribute the “Speak Out July 13” flyer from the Virginia Anti-Shariah Task Force:
The Islamic Saudi Academy is planning to build an immense Shariah-ruled campus in Fairfax to teach the apartheid doctrines of Shariah. As usual, Fairfax officials are bending over to help, even though the Islamist campus may severely damage the environment of the neighborhood and cause unmanageable traffic. This massive ISA campus is opposed by a rapidly growing group of Fairfax taxpayers who will testify July 13.

ISLAMIC ACADEMY INVESTIGATION – The Traditional Values Coalition and other national and Virginia groups will hold a demonstration at 8 a.m., Tuesday, June 17 near the Islamic Saudi Academy, 8333 Richmond Highway Alexandria, VA. A federal commission reported the academy uses textbooks which advocate violence against and intolerance of non-Muslims. TVC has asked the U.S. Justice Department to investigate activities at the academy and the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors’ role in leasing the county-owned building to the Saudi Embassy in Washington.

Sample Letter to Fairfax County Supervisors:
I am writing to express my dismay that the Board of Supervisors has failed to hold the Islamic Saudi Academy accountable for its continued use of textbooks filled with hate and its numerous violations of Virginia law. Instead of asking tough questions and demanding actions, you have rushed to praise the academy as a model. The Board’s apologies to the ISA during the May 19th hearing are appalling considering the June 11th, United States Commission on International Religious Freedom report that condemns the ISA’s continued use of textbooks that proclaim murder as a religious right.
I strongly disagree with the Board of Supervisor’s claims that this is a Federal issue. Homeland Security starts in the home, at the local level, and as my local elected official I am demanding you pursue a course of action based on analysis of government reports, not on how well the ISA keeps its grounds.
It is beyond reproach that Board of Supervisors rested their judgment on a process Supervisor Hyland went to great lengths to keep secret. This fundamental lack of transparency has greatly eroded my trust in you and the entire Fairfax County Board. That the Director General of the ISA, whom Chairman Connolly also apologized too, has recently been arrested for obstruction of justice only exacerbates my concern that the Fairfax County Board has made a poor decision in its continued support of the ISA.
I demand the following:
- Conduct a full, open, and documented investigation of the ISA, including its textbooks
- Make all information collected during the investigation available for public review
- Hold the ISA responsible for the costs of the investigation
- Prohibit the Saudi government from leasing County property until it stops publishing textbooks that justify murder on religious grounds and clearly demonstrates its obligations to human rights by permitting the practice of all religions within Saudi Arabia.
